I am a reader. I enjoy reading about drug/alcohol abuse, childhood problems, demented things as my librarian puts it. I have read A Child Called "it" and also The Lost Boy by Dave Peltzer. I have read Crank, Burned, and Impluse by Ellen Hopkins. If you have read those books then you know exactly what I am talking about.
I also like books about vampires.

i have read all those books and love them as well. here are some suggestions:
-"candy" by kevin brooks (this is about a guy who gets involved with a prostitute/drug addict and falls in love)
-"saint iggy" by k.l. going (this is about a boy who gets kicked out of school and gets involved with his drug addict friend)
-"cut" by patricia mckormick (this is about a girl who attempts suicide and is found before she dies, it follows her time in a recovery center)
as for vampire books, here are a few that i think are excellent:
-"demon in my view" by amelia atwater-rhodes (this book is AMAZING, and so are all the other books she has written, including the sequel to this book, "shattered mirror," and "in the forests of the night"
-"vampire kisses" by ellen schriber (this is also a series, i think there are 4 books)
-"twilight" by stephanie meyer (this is a three book saga, includes "new moon" and "eclipse")
