I felt i had to put in my 2 cents after reading all the scaremongering posted by others. I speak from experience on this and from discussing the same situation with other people. Sex is totally safe when on ecstasy, and its very nice as well.
One of the active ingredients in ecstasy is MDMA which increases seratonin in the brain and will heighten certain senses - especially touching. People on ecstasy love to hug each other and give back rubs. Now considering that touching becomes more pleasurable on ecstasy then it goes to reason that sex is considerably more pleasurable to, and in most people opinions it is.
However due to the effects of ecstasy people can fail to put on a condom due to getting caught in the moment, this isnt so much of a problem if you are in a relationship and have other forms of contraception but take extra care if you are with someone you have never met before.
Also you should know that ecstasy can inhibit the ability to get an erection, so if you are still feeling the effects of the drug there is a chance you wont be getting any action at all.
Finally i would like to point out to the questioner that while ecstasy can be dangerous it is probably less harmfull to you than many legal substances (cigarettes and alcohol for one) and that should you be sensible with it then you should have a highly enjoyable time.
