I asked my boyfriend on saturday if he wanted to go to the movies sunday. He doesn't have a lot of money, so i was going to pay, no problem, but when i asked, he told me he didn't want to go because he just "didn't feel like going." the only thing it would have cost him was time.
i've been trying a lot harder lately at being more open to him, and he's not returning the favor. it feels like my trying is just worthless.
for some reason unknown to me, i really like him, but i'm starting to have doubts about how he feels towards me. he hasn't told me that he loves me in days, and it's kind of worrisome. (sp?)
i really do love him, there's no doubt to it, but i'm not sure if this is going to work out. should i break up with him or give him one more chance or what?

I don't think its a big deal that he wasn't in the mood to go to a movie. Chances are its not you and you're reading too much into things. He's being honest and saying that he doesnt want to go rather than making things up, which is good. Maybe he just wanted some alone time or has some other things going on right now. There's nothing wrong with wanting alone time or just time with family or friends. That's okay, as long as hes honest and tells you rather than making up a story I wouldn't be too worried. As far as the saying he loves you goes, I wouldn't read into that either. Its days not weeks and not months, maybe right now he has things going on in his life that he just doesn't want to talk about, things that are holding him back. I would just discuss this with him and see what he has to say although I wouldnt mention the movie thing because that may make you sound clingy. Just say that you feel hes grown distant with you and ask if somethings bothering him or if he still feels for you. Just talk to him, have a heart-to-heart, because there is really no reason to break up with him for this without first talking to him, only then can you make that decision.
