I woke up with a cold sore (bottom lip) this morning...I hardly ever get them, maybe once a year max., usually in the winter. Does anyone know of any gel or cream that treats cold sores fast? I know that Blistex helps alleviate the pain, but what works best to actually treat the cold sore? (link)

aberva works the best for core sores. its worth the money. or carmex they both work but i would try aberva!

Thanks, I got abreva at the store today...it was a bit pricey, but as long as it gets rid of the cold sore it's ok
