what exactly is considered child abuse? me and my parents just got in a fight (mostly me and my mom because shes crazy) and she came running after me so i ran out of the house and she said not to come back in....is this abuse? by the way i live in a place where its like 20 degrees right now and i was in a tee shirt :( i dont wanna get taken away but i hate when this happens (link)

No, that's not child abuse or atleast its not something that you would get taken away for. Child abuse is when the child is mentally or physically abused such as being hit or being called really bad names and making the child feel really bad about themselves. If your mom wants to lock you out of the house for a few hours, that's her own form of punishment and you should learn to respect her and not get in fights if you don't want to be punished. Child abuse is when the child does nothing wrong or does something little and gets punished to the extreme. You were not. I'm sure everyones parents or atleast a lot of peoples parents have done that before. Next time run up to your room and lock the door.
