Long story short, where I live you have to give this important speech at the beginning of your senior year.
I "gave" mine 2 days ago. I put the gave in quotations marks since I didnt follow it through. I started it, but messed up somewhere in the middle, started crying, and left the classroom, and then skipped the rest of the classes that day.
My teacher told me I'll get a new chance to do it this week. I will die. Same speech, same audience. They've all probably been talking about me and how humiliating that was.
The moral of the speech was that the more you believe in your dreams the more like reality they become.
I was wondering if there's any way to turn this into something positive (or atleast LESS embarrassing) by including that little awful preformance in my speech somehow?
OR is there something funny I could say at the introduction of the speech (to make the fact that I'll be repeating that same beginning of the speech less horrible) ??

i think you'll be fine either way but ; maybe you should add something at the beginning of your speech like "we all make mistakes & we all have bad days but if you put your mind to it you'll be able to acheive all your goals and dreams ; its ok if you mess up as long as you get back up and try again because if you dont you'll just end up disappointing yourself " or something along the lines of that. good luck and keep thinking positvie becuase im sure you'll do great!!
