To those who actually have experience with sending in college applications, I have a question.
I planned on doing all of my applications online, paying for them and everything.
My application for UNC CH requires a teacher recommendation. I already have the teacher writing it, but I was wondering how it works with me sending it in. She said that she would put it in a sealed envelope and give it to me and then I would send it in with my application, transcript, and counsilor recommendation.
So, if I'm doing my application online would I just send these three things seperately (in the same envelope, just without an application)?
If so, how would that work. If not, what would I do?
Our school doesn't send out transcrips because of parents and students complaining that schools never got their transcripts. The guidance department said it was less hassle for them if we sent them ourselves. I just wasn't sure since I'm doing my stuff online not on paper.
Thanks. =]
hey :]
i applied last year so i know pretty much everything there is to know. i applied and paid online for all the schools i applied to too. you send the recommendations in seperately. what i did though, was gave all my recommendations to my counselor and she sent them in with my transcript. since your school doesnt do this, send your transcripts, and letters in together. you probably want to get an envelope from the school that has the return address with the school seal on it. also, all schools are different, so contacting their admissions office and asking them if this is how they prefer it, isnt a good idea.
good luck and have fun in college :]
