okay, heres a couple of ideas:
Invest in a good straightner if you can; I use a Chi and I love it and get a lot of good use out of it.
With straightened hair you can:
1.just leave your hair down and straightened; make sure you use some sort of frizz control product, herbal essences works great.
2.put only a little bit of hair back in a clip on in the middle of your head: usually where a center part woud go. make the hair in the clip into almost a bit of a poof.
3.experiment with the many parts; middle, side, other side
4.head bands are great. if you want to experiment a little, square faces look great with side bangs. leave your bangs out when wearing a head band.
With out straightening:
5.always use some sort of anti-frizz product to keep away the fly aways!
6.all of the styles above look great with scrunched hair. Scrunching is simple; wash your hair and run a big amount of strong gel through your hair and basically grab pieces of hair and squeeze it. It's like a wet wavy look.
7.the classic pony tail is always great; however to make it a little different start with style number two then just tie your hair back into either a high or low pony. make sure its not to tight.
8. low ponys on either side of your neck. mess them up a bit.
well this should be enough to start you off! :]
need more? you can always ask.
