If someone you knew told you that they cut themselves, what would your first reaction be? Would you think they were crazy, would you try to help them, would you be scared of them, or what? (link)

ok, well i had a friend who cut themselves about a year ago.
i was devestated for them.
I still remained her friend.
but honestly, cutting doesn't seem worth it to me.
i mean, yeah, we ALL have our problems, no denying it, but i just don't think it's the way to go.
and you know, i just recently went through the same problems my friend did a year ago and i'm cut free, and plan to remain that way.
i feel that if you really do have issues that you feel like you need to hurt yourself, you should talk to someone who will LISTEN and UNDERSTAND what you're going through. that's what i do. i talk to the people involved in my life who care the most about me.
