Okay, about 5 months ago I met this boy and from the minute I met him I fancied him. It slowly started to get a lot more serious and I can honestly say I love him, he's also become a very close friend.
Four months ago he started dating this girl, and he says he's in love with her, but it's a long distance relationship and recently they've been going through a bit of a rough patch and he told me he's not really sure what's going on with him and his girlfriend at the moment. But he still loves her.
Yesterday, on msn, after ages of him saying he needed to tell me something, he told me he likes me as more than a friend, but that no one else knows. I told him I felt the same but I wouldn't act on his because he has a girlfriend.
We agreed that it was probably going to be really awkward next time we saw each other.
And today I was standing outside the place we always hang out with two of my friends (who are also his friends), when him and his best mate walked up. I felt really, really awkward and he seemed very shy and nervous. I waved and said hi, and as he got closer he said hi very quietly.
And yeah, basically it's really awkward, and I don't want it to be that way.
What should I do?

Ok that is normal i know what its likw to and btw things will probly be akward till they brake up i think you made the right choice about his gf and that was sweet but untill they brake up try and act the same thats what i did so try not to worry but its hard when you fall for one of your best guy friends and i hope this helps and maybe ask him if you can be friends untill he knows whats going on with his "gf" if i were you just next time you see him make it you and him then make a move like maby him and you could be together after that!!
