I'v seen alot of these questions asked so sorry if I'm just reasking the same old question.

I'm going for my frist gyno appoinment next week. I have a few questions :

[1]. What should I expect ? Like will it hurt ? If it hurts will it only hurt for that day or will it hurt for a couple days ?
[2]. What kind of questions will she ask me ?
[3]. I'm only 16, will she tell my mom everything I tell her ?
[4]. Will I be tested for any STD's ?
[5]. Any other advice ?

I'm really nervous, every girl I'v talked to has told me different things to expect & they have all been scary. I don't want to be nervous I want to be relaxed so anything you could tell me would be apprecated. Thanks :)

[1] Think cold, metal tampon. They won't really "poke", it's just an uncomfortable feeling
[2] Any unusual patterns regarding your period? Are your sexually active or planning to be? (Answer this one truthfully, she'll give you the next steps)
[3] She will NOT tell your parents.
[4] You will be tested for some things. They will do a pap smear, STD testing, birth control issues and, down the road, pregnancy.
[5] Prepare a list of questions. Ask them. You'll receive the right information that your friends won't know.
