I want to get my hair cut. I had been looking forward to it all summer. I was planning on getting my hair cut in layers, so I could puff it up to look like big 80's hair.

I was so excited until my mom started saying, "You won't like it. You'll hate it. You'll bitch about it. It's too much of a risk to get it cut, but if you're willing to take that risk, then okay."

I am sort of scared of change. I like my hair the way it is now, but I want to try something new. Ever since my mom said that stuff, I've been scared to get a new hairstyle now. I really want to get something new, but I'm afraid it will turn out terrible.

Do you think I should get my hair cut and take that risk? Or should I just be safe and keep my hair the same?

i think you should get it cut ! my hair used to be pretty long too. i was scared also to get my haircut. when i first got it i didnt like it at all for the first 3 days or so. but thats just because i wasnt used to it yet. all my friends always complimented on how cute it looked.

i also got shorter hair with short layers.
and i loveeee it.

my boyfriend did the same thing to me. he told me i wouldnt like it if i got it cut. but he was WRONG and i love it and soo does he.

sooo get it cut. you have nothing to lose .. and even if there is i chance you dont like it you can always get extensions.
