I have an LG phone, its model VX5300. Its a picture phone, and I can take pictures fine and everything...
I want to make my own ringtone, because I want to sing this song that *I* wrote, and make it my ringtone. Is there a way to record it on my phone without having it on your computer?? (link)

i dont know if it is the same as the verizon razr, but on my razr, to record things, i go into menu, tools, and then voice recorder. record the song you want, save it, and then there should be something that says set as ringtone, or go into your ringtones and it should be there under whatever you saved it as. like i said, i dont know if its the same with the vx5300, but thats how it works on the razr, so it should work. its worth a try, right?=]

nope... sorry. I tried that, and there isn't a voice recorder on mine... :( thanks for trying to help though!
