Hey, i was wondering how you get borders around your picture like these:

or any other kinda destroyed/film kinda funky border. i have photoshop CS3 and i couldnt find anything like those except for one that makes it look ripped. is there another program you use or am i not looking in the right place on photoshop. (link)
Try this tutorial, it shows you how you can mak your own in photoshop really easily:) :

There's some brushes you can load to give more effects:

http://www.gfxvoid.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4727&highlight=grunge+boarder

Basically you create a new layer (transparent), Do the brush strokes, use the lasso tool and cut out the way you want the border to be, add details like different brush strokes, blurs and smudges and then place that layer on top of your picture creating a cool boarder. If the boarder cuts off the picture just mak the border wider or the picture smaller:)

It seems hard but it is really easy, i'd do it and show you now but my photoshop is playing up and being annoying:(
Give it a go though i hope you find it easy to do and they come out good:)
