Hey everybody! I love to help people and I've been the designated advice-giver amongst my friends for years so I've gotten pretty good at it. If I haven't been through it, I know someone who has, so feel free to ask me anything! I just wish I had known about this site when I was younger and needed more advice of my own.

ok. so my friend has a urinary track infection. she said its because she didn't go pee once she had sex. that didn't make any sense to me because i thought that your vagina was a different hole then you pee hole (sorry i don't know the scientific name) and i was just really confused. so if anyone could help me out with this i'd appreciate it (link)
It really helps to go to the bathroom after you have sex because although there are two separate holes, they are so close on women that often bacteria can get forced into your urethra (pee hole). Going to the bathroom helps to force it back out before it can build up.

Some other tips to avoid these painfully awful infections... wipe from front to back after going to the bathroom to drag bacteria away from the urethra and drink lots of water or cranberry juice (although this has not been proven to help and has never helped me).
