Q: i have thick, wavy hair that is kinda coarse. i currently use a conair straightener and it works great, but it doesn't keep my hair straight for that long. the second i step outside my hair starts to curl & flip out at places.

i am considering either buying the chi turbo ceramic flat iron. does anybody use this and will it keep my hair straight throughout the ENTIRE day? even if it is rainy or humid?

and if that won't solve my problem what will? do i have to use a good product on my hair? i already use this but it doesn't seem to be working:

ok this is coming from a senior beuaty school student. chi straighters are some of hte best you can get. but no matter how good of a straighter doesn't mean it will stay in all day. Trust me. some products work better than others, try some Skinny Serum from paul mitchel, it will make a huge difference. but there is no straightener that guarantees an all day stay. You might (and this is a last resort) need to get your hair chemically relaxed. That will help, but it will practically fry your hair if not done right. Look for professional products, they may be more expensive, but they work.

any other hair questions, hit me up!

thanks! yeah & i've had my hair chemically relaxed before and it didn't do anything! and then they said if i wanted it chemically straightened it would be $100 an hour and that my hair would take 6 hours! so that isn't even an option :] and i ordered the chi today :] and i'll look into that hair product. THANKS A MILLION!
