friday morning when i was getting ready for school i put on blush and my dad saw me and was like r u wearing blush? and i said yes, and he told me he didn't wanna see me wear it anymore because i'm too young, (and i'm 13!) and he said that it gives you cancer! i was thinking wtf, but is this true? That's a bit of an overstatement... but of course, makeup can contain carcinogens (cancer causing chemicals), just like many chemical products from coca cola to artificial sweetener. Basically I think your dad just doesn't want you to use makeup as he doesn't like the idea of makeup at all, no matter what your age. Which is fair enough, a lot of guys don't like makeup on girls. It's nasty stuff, bad for the environment, a waste of money and a time-consuming hassle! (I still wear it though!)
Maybe you want to re-think how much makeup you wear though? A little lip gloss and mascara should be enough. Too much makeup and you look like a fake who's trying too hard... and that's not attractive! Confidence is key!
