I was holding my cat and she bit my arm, likkee real hardd.. Can I get cat-scratch fever? I heard that you can if a cat bites or scrathes you.. Should I wash it out?

Go to a doctor just to make sure, wash it out thoroughly. See a doctor just to make sure its nothing bad or major - and yes i am thirteen... why?
