ok so i just bought a new hair straightner it cost $30.00 at the mall. my mom doesnt let me use it becase she thinks that we need some kind of spray? she says that if we dont use the spray then the hair straightner would damage my hair is this true? anybody has had a hairstraightner and used it before and nothing bad happened to their hair. i want to use it but im scared if i do need a spray or something like that to put in before using it whats it called? thanks! You don't have to use a spray, but it's good to put a serum in your hair before you straighten it.
I would suggest the Protect & Shine Serum by K-PAK. It makes your hair really soft and it smells like coconuts :] I wouldn't put it directly on your roots thogh, because it might make them look greasy. Just put a little dot of it in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, and spread it throughout your hair focusing on your ends. Hope I helped!!
