My name is alix. I'm fourteen &i live just moved to massachusets. i love all of my closer friends; theyre my life. i like cats, and my favorite food is soanish rice. i like going to the movies with all my friends; we do it every friday. it's a routine. i love giving advice about guys, but what i really love are questions from guys about girls. im really opinionated, but im usually not very harsh when i answer things.

for a month or more, ive been eating healthy (including the fact that ive given up sweets for lent). i heard from 3 people that i look thinner, and im not sure if thats true. im super stressed about my weight since today i went to the doctor and was 124 on their scales, but on my home scale im near 117. I used to run daily but ive been lazy. I still eat healthy. my meals are..



breakfast- a bowl of cereal and fruit

snack before lunch at school- a few pretzels or grapes

lunch- a sandwitch, some veggies, some fruits, wheat thins or other cracker like snacks

snack after school- some wheat thins or fruit


dinner- usually some type of healthy dinner?


i dont know what else i can do.. im so upset today about my weight. i am not hungrey alot and i dont over eat. before i used to eat alot and i just was a piggy teenage girl. ive got no sports for me now, but cheerleading season ( a long all year round) is starting soon. help please

wow, first off, kudos for keeping so healthy. ive been trying to eat well, but its hard. your meals seem really healthy.

if you have a treadmill at home, take advantage of it! its suchhh an easy way to run, and you can do it while watching tv or listening to music. if not, try to go for runs with a friend. it helps you keep motivated. also you wont not do it because your lazy, because its something to look forward to.

do crunches or sit ups every night. its soo easy, and you dont need to have any equipment. i started out with ten, and added ten more every other night until it got to a hundred a night, but im really good at sit ups, not gonna lie. if theyre not your strong point, add only five, or add ten every three, four, or even five days. figure out what works for you.

also, try doing an individual sport at a gym. try kickboxing or rock climbing- my fave sports, if you could call them that. theyre so much fun, and they keep you very fit.

117 is a great weight. its not fat at all. infact, its absolutely gorgeous. you dont have the bones peeking through, which looks weird, but you dont have flab. 124 is only a few pounds over. you can lose that weight if you really want to(i dont know your height so i cant say whats a good weight for you, but ill guess youre pretty average heighted.)

(Rating: 5) im about 5/3 but i am not fat, musclar. i dont know though because the dr scale said i was 124 and my home scale which i use alot says im 117ish. thanks for the advicen though!
