confidence can get you so far. its totally possible for a guy not to like you but then realize a bit later that your amazing and then they like you. it happens all the time. just dont be fake because that causes problems. be yourself (wow that sounds lame) and everything should fall into place. show him how much fun you are to be around, how well you treat people, how you can be funny and also laugh at yourself. if you can make him see that your a good person who knows, he may change his mind, but if he doesnt, dont sweat it, guys can be oblivious jerks, it just means your better off with someone else. good luck!
