Okay, random qeird question[s]

1. Why do you get teary eyes and runny nose when you vomit?
2. What's the deal with stomach acid and it being bad?

You get teary eyed and a runny nose because of the force/strain that happens when you vomit.

Stomach acid is mainly composed of hydrochloric acid. Hydrochloric acid could literally, eat a hole through laminate tile floors (like the the tile at schools). Now think of that in your throat and on your teeth. Over time, if people throw up constantly (such as bulimics), they will wear away the lining of the esophagus and wear the enamel off of their teeth.
