how do you dance at a schoool dance? im in 7th grade and its nothing fancy--u can wear sweats or jeans and a T or something. and they play normal rap or hip hop and stuff like that. there arent any slow songs. but when ever i try just dancing i feel like everyones staring at me even though no one is. lol (link)

im in 7th grade as well... and i actually had a dance last night and our dances are just like yours, nothing fancy and tons of rap music.
at first i was a little shy and i held back but by the second song i was like "fuck this i wanna have fun" and i started dancing to the beat of the song and you don't have to be a professional to dance. i copied my friends, did some of my own stuff and no one cared how i was dancing cuz it doesnt matter how you dance, the only thing you should be concerned about is having fun. and i was jumping up and down and doing crazy dances and even grinding with my friends and i just wanted to have the time of my life and once i let loose i had the best time ever. if you spend half the dance concerning about what you look like then you ruin the fun for yourself.
just act like you think your the best dancer ever and dont be shy because you will regret it. your only in 7th grade once so live it up.
just be with your friends dance with everyone and follow the beat (there is no certain way to dance) and you will have fun.
