Q: Ok, I am dating this great guy. Everything was going fine until one day I asked my dad if I could go to the movies with him on a date. We got into discussion about how my boyfriend was 2 years older than me. [I am in 8th grade and he is in 10th.] I ended up having to breakup with him that night because of the difference but, I still love him. We still tell everyone we are dating, and say we are dating... but I don't know how to let my dad know that he is a really nice guy. He is alot better than all the other guys in my grade because he isn't a horndog like them. I have all confidence that if they meet my dad will love him. But the question is, how can I show my dad that he is the best one for me at this point in my life without having him be mad?

p.s. My dad is a hard-head when it comes to me and guys.

Thankyou in advance. :)
what i would do is tell politely ask your dad if he'd like to meet your boyfriend [but since he thinks you aren't dating, just call him by his name of course]. and so then ask him over for a family dinner [if you all do that kind of thing] or out to eat with your family somewhere. tell your dad about if he plays any sports, or about anything he might have in common with your dad. or just plain anything you think your dad would like to hear, sweet talk him. then if he agrees, tell your boyfriend to be cautious of what he says and tell him to be respectful & polite, if he isn't already. then your dad should be convinced he's harmless :)

hope i helped. any other questions, just ask♥

Thankyou. :)

hiii! i'm caroline. i'm eighteen years old, and just started my freshman year of college. i have a magificent boyfriend who i love more than anything. we've been together over three years. he's also my best friend. speaking of which, my other best friends are also pretty fantastic. another huge part of my heart is devoted to god. he's blessed me with so much more than i deserve, and even though i fall short on a daily basis, he's still there for me, every step of the way. i'm a pretty simple girl- i love anything fun, texting, being outdoors, swimming, playing soccer, frisbee, or watching football, spending time with my family, and most of all- living my life to the absolute fullest.

to be frank, i'm not going to answer your questions about girl drama or pregnancy, because i have no experience in either of those categories, nor do i want to listen to you whine about how "we didn't use a condom" or "she's such a &*^#%!!!!". however, i'm totally open to anything else. drop something in my inbox and i'll get to it pretty quick- i'm quite the net nerd (:
