my room where i keep my parakeet gets cold, and i dont want my parakeet to get cold. is there any type of bird heating lamps that i could use to keep him warm? if so, where could i buy one?links? and what temperature should the cage stay at if i were to use a heating lamp? (link)

I have that EXACT same problem...and I'm not lying. I have a white parakeet. So, what I do is during the winter I put a towel over my parakeet's cage, and I've done that for a while and she's still alive!

aww i love white parakeets=] ive always wanted a white one, but whenever i saw them at pet stores is when i alrwady had a bird.so when it came time to get another bird, i of course couldnt find a white one=p
