First I would like to point out that I'm not as ghostly white as my picture looks. I actually have a really nice tan. :)

Hey, I just read this for the first time in a long time and I realized I sounded like a complete female Rainman. Anyway, I'm pretty much amazing, haha. I love to help people out with minor or major problems, so you ask me anything and I will answer it to the best of my ability! My favorite topics to give advice on are DEBATE, FRIENDS, POLITICS, MUSIC, and SPORTS (a recent thing!). I'm a typical Texas (college) football fan. That's pretty much it, so get to asking questions and stop reading this! :)

my house is usually pretty cool, which isnt good for my parakeet. he shivers a lot whenever hes out of his cage. i keep the top of his cage covered with a towel to keep him warm, but what else can i do to keep him warm?

thanks (link)
you could always put him in the oven or microwave.. haha just kidding. I used to have parakeets and I kept a small heat lamp close to their cage. Just keep him covered and put the heat lamp next to his cage. Don't put it too close that it burns him but close enough he's cozy. (and make sure it's not TOO hot)
