'Ello, the name's Chloe, and I've always been the advice giver among my friends. If you ask me a question or if I answer your question, I'll do the best I can to help. I'm a teenager, I'm a ballet dancer (yes, I can "go on my toes") I'm also an actress, musician, writer, artist...pretty much an artist all around. If you have questions related to any of these things, I guarantee I'll be able to answer them! Well, thanks for visiting my column stop by again sometime! I'd love to meet you!

hey guys. I'm Jackie, I'm 15. I have liked this guy for a while. And we flirt and stuff. He acts like he likes me, but he told my friend beth that he only likes me as a friend. I try to get over him, but everytime i get close to it, I see him, or talk to him and I fall right back into liking him. should I get over him? And if so how? please help. thankss

Realistically, it sounds like he might be one of those guys who flirts with lots of girls (believe me we all know the type). If this is the case, he might act like that a lot with other girls. Next time you're around him, try to pay attention to that. Does he flirt with lots of other girls? If he does, then you have two options. You can A) Just be the cattiest, most flirtatious queen of them all, or B) You can back off and even move on to new territory (I'm not saying permanently though). Once he doesn't have you around he may realize what he's missing. And if he doesn't he was never worth it anyway.
Ok that was the sentimental way to handle this like a mature person. But you want to know how I would handle it? Here's what you do. Go for one of his buddies. Jealously can be a monster and if you're always flirting with his friend, he may become more interested in you. I know that sounds horrible but unfortunately it is a prime example of how the male mind works.
Just plain want to get over him? I reccomend the Summer 2006 issue of Rolling Stone (it has Johnny Depp on the cover ;)
(Rating: 5) thanks you helped A LOT! =)
