so i downloaded a song by them it was supposedly called, 'my blue heaven'
but when I found it on iTunes, it was completely different!

I think the song you're looking for is called "Just Like Heaven" and Taking Back Sunday did a remake of it. It was originally done by The Cure. I hope this helps.
