It's really hard to say. It all depends on if they like older or younger girls. I'd say just start up a conversation with her one day, or try to find out some clubs/activities that shes interested in that you might be too, and find some familiar territory so that you have something to strike up a conversation about. Or, if you want to be blunt about it, just let her know that you are interested in her and would like to get to know her better.
I know what its like going through the whole "bi" thing. I came out to my friends in 6th grade and they freaked, so I waited till 10th grade (2 years ago) & they were okay with it. Its weird getting used to the whole dating girls thing though, heh. But let me know how it goes :)

Ehh.. It all depends on who she is as a person and if she's accepting about it. When I came out in 6th grade my friends were immature and didnt know much about being bisexual so they thought I was weird. but in 10th everyone was completely okay with it cause they knew that i didnt have crushes on all of my friends, or any for that matter.
Try and secretively find out how she feels about bi's/lesbians, and if shes comfortable around people like that then it would be probably okay to just straight up tell her.. if shes a little leery about them.. then maybe youll have to explain to her in a more emotional fashion that you're bi
