im a twin and i feel as if my dad treats my sister differently than me .. she snuck out of the house and got caught and she didnt even get grounded while me on the other hand didnt tell my dad all the details about my friends sweet sixteen and i was grounded from my boyfriend for a week .. does anyone know what i can do? well i myself am not a twin, but i have many freinds who are, but i d have a sister that is similar in age to me and the same thing happens with us, ill do something and get punished 4 it, then my sister will do the exact same things like a day later and she might even do somthing worse then what i did and she wont get punished what so ever. all you can do is sit down and talk to your dad and your sister about it and dont make it seem all about you like by using the words, me, I, myself, ect., if you do than include you, your, us, or we. for example, dont say to your dad, " I hate the way you treat me", try using, "can you please treat me and my sister the same?" and tell him how you feel, like how he treats you both differently in how he punishes you, and talks to you mabye, or even mention that you "feel" like hes playing favorites, and also discuss how you could try to work it out.
