Ok dumb quesiton but I'm REALLY serious! The instructions on the packages are so not even detailed, it's like they're trying to say it in the least amount of words and pictures or something! I need someone to explain it VERY clearly because I heard that tampons are better than pads? But I'm scared what if the tampon gets stuck up there and then you'd have to yank it out and like what if perices of skin and stuff up there ripped off?! :O please answer! (link)

I have had the same problem.I'm 13 and just started my peroid Wednsday.It seems scary i know because i kept asking my mom what if the string goest up and i cant get it out.that is not possible.Depending on the age,thats the kind you shuold use.I use regulars.heres how you insert it.Sit on the toilet,legs spred out,then relax,you can never put a tampon in if your not relaxed!,and put the tampon in the vagina and then with the thumb at the end push up.Put it as far up as you can or it will keep irritating you.Usually nobody got it right the first time,I know!But practice makes perfect!
