Hi,
I have the Sims 2 for PC installed on my computer. My problem is that whenever I try to run the Sims 2 Body shop, it starts to open, but then a little prompt that says this pops up:
"Direct 3D returned an error: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL!
This application will now terminate."
And when I click "OK" the whole program closes.
Is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling my game? (link)

Yes and no. From what I've seen its a conflict between hardware and software (some say its the graphics card, others say its your chipset, etc etc). One answer I saw that seemed to be a fix for people was to download the pre-release version of Body-shop. I got my info (thanx Google) from:

The three links to the pre-release version they gave (I did NOT check to see if they are current sorry), and you will need to register for Fileshack/Fileplanet BTW:

For Mac: http://www.apple.com/downloads/maco...s2bodyshop.html
This looks like the most likely fix to me. GL hope this helps (I would think it would considering it is on a Sims forum).
