My mom and dad are having some problems and I've been pretty upset about it. My mom basicaly told my dad that she doesn't like him much anymore just because of their arguments in the past. My mom, dad and I always used to go out on Satudays and do things like go out to eat, go to movies and things like that. Now, my dad and I are the only one's that do that while my mom is out with her new friend drinking at bars and things. Most of the time she even just spends the night at here friends house. I've tried talking to her but its just to akward. What in the heck should I do? Is she mabe having an affair? I don't know what to do or think. Any good advice would do me some good right now. hey, first off, let me say that im very sorry that you're stuck in this crapy thread. I know what its like to have your parent(s) ignore you and go off and do things wrong and other stupid things. My parents are divorced and when im at my dads house, my dad pretty much either ignores me or yells at me for styupid things. and when im at my mom's, she drinks and smokes every minute. my sister yells at me every night, and since my mom's drunk all the time, she hardley even spends time with me. and on weekends she goes out drinking with her freinds, doing what? i have no freaking idea. she is also very very abusive when shes drunk so that's another problem i have to feal with. but with your mom, when she IS home, go over to her and try to spend as MUCH time with her as possible, show her that you love her and care about her and make her feel like she is needed and wanted in your life. just show her that you need to desperatly spend time with her. if she calls herself you're mother, than she will listen to you. you're her daughter, she MUST love you. and if she dosent listen to you, then theres nothing much you can do for her, and be glad that you at least have a good dad that looks out for you and is always there for you. even talk to you're dad about your mom and tell him you're conserned about her. well i hope my6 advice works, and if you decide to take it then please write me back and let me know how it all turned out. k? thank you. good luck =)
