Well, to start off my dog has been living with us for 4 years now and I myself am the youngest member in my family. Whenever I go near my mom, say MOM, or hug her and such, my dog gets REALLY jealous and dictates my mom eventually. I find it interesting and funny but anywhos, is this normal? =P (link)

definetely normal. i was over at an exboyfriend's house one day, and i went to play slap him, and his dog came up behind me and dug his teeth into my back becuase he was protecting his owner.
