I was really late to catch up on the trend, which is probably like a year old, that's why I begged my mom to let me buy a miniskirt. B4 the whole legings thing my mom would never let me look at a minskirt when were shopping. I ended up buying a mini + leggings and was planning to wear it on the 1st day of school. Is this a good idea or would i end up looking like the fashion disaster i can always be when i try to go for a look diffrnt than the usual [jeans + tee]? What i fear the most is what evry 1 else is gonna say. School starts in 2 wks and i cant make up my mind. The 1st day is one of the only days i get to look especially nice. The outfit i was planning to wear looks nice w/ or w/o, IMO. I have to wear the mini and leggings to school or my mom would deem me as wasting her money. This isnt the 1st time i would look at something and say "Oh,that's cute" and buy it and wear it to school, to then realize its not that cute of a shirt or whatever and never wear it again. Like last year when i bought a bright pink cropped hoodie/sweatshirt... Lets just say that color pink was definetly not my color.
Anyways, what should i do?

Thats what im gonna be wearing on the first day of school. Unless its to hot I have a backup outfit. But honestly that trend hasnt gone out. & Belive me you`ll look cute. Like I bought a pair of brown ones & im wearing a jean miniskirt with some brown in the back & im wearing a brown tanktop with brown flip flops. Dont wear to much different colors because then it`ll look kinda stupid. So whatever color leggins you bought I would wear the same color shirt. A little off isnt horrible or anything. But belive me if you match it nicely togther you`ll look cute. Hope I helped
