My boyfriend and i have been going out for almost 4 months now. We both care about each other alot. His previous girlfriend and him broke up cuz she was moving to a different state. The three of us are all friends and we get along great. Well our town's home coming dance will be here soon and my bf called me and asked if he could go with her. Now at first i didn't mind. i know that they are going just as friends, and i don't really like dances anyway. But then i was thinking that how do i know if i don't like dances if i haven't actually experienced one. I didn't go as a freshman cuz i didn't have a date, but now that i am going out w/ him i would have a date. See i went to the middle school dances and they were boring, but i hear high school ones are different. So i guess i don't know what i should do. Neither of us have gotten to see bekah in a long time (the ex, my best friend, his ex) so should i tell him that i want to go with him even though they have been planing this for about a year, or should i just let them go?

it's going to be hard but let them go. you should find a friend to take too. it'll still be fun. you'll get to experience homecoming & maybe even fit in a few dances with your boyfriend. [:
