15/f. A couple of questions about birth control pills:
- Which ones work the best?
- Which have the least side effects? I would like to avoid gaining weight if possible.
- About how much does it cost?
- Is a prescription required?

I currently take yasmin one of the "sugar pills" birth controls. i find that it does work effictively if you take it at the same time every day and it does help regulate you menstruall cycle if yours isnt normal. it costs about 10$ with my insurance. Doctors are required to keep it confidential.
I took ortho tri cyclen and it made me gain weight and i found it to not work very well. but thats for me. and every one is different. you should see a planned parent hood doctor. or a obgyn (they specialize in that kind of thing).
