i just got my lip peicred, and i wanted it peirced with a stud, but the peircer said he doesn't peirce lips with studs.my friend got her lip pierced with a stud though.after it completely heals, can i take it out and put a monroe or labret stud in it?will it do anything to my gums or teeth if i do do that?

well i have my lip peirced three times and ive had them for almost a year.. there all studds [well for now] and mine are all barbells and it hasnt messed up my teeth yet or my gums..but it depends on how low it is..cause if its like a labret then i wouldnt get a regular barbell..but if your afraid that itll mess up your teeth you can get a studd with a flat back..and those are perfectly safe..those are actually what your supposed to have..but if your lips are a little fuller[like mine] it may be hard finding a studd with a flat back..but either way i think your safe=)
