no time anymore!

okay..so im not really good with running long distances without losing my breath..and i know may is far away..but we have a big race at school and i really want to be top 6 for my grade..and i know that if i run and run ill get better and better..but ive been so busy and i can never motivate myself to run!! i have no idea what to do..what are some good ways to make me not run out of breath!! thanks so muchh! :]

Really, practice practice practice. Practice running short distances, and to motivate yourself just keep thinking "Have to be top 6!". Start with semi-short distances, and work your way up to longer ones. Being in shape is what keeps you from losing your breath as fast, so you could try other workouts to improve it. Crunches, pushups, even walks can improve it. Good luck. :]
