well, theres this girl. she is in my piano class, i think that by having small talk every class i could get closer and closer to the point where we're friends

Yessss! Just be you and be cute, cause girls like that. Maybe after a few times talking to her just say like, Hey, do you want to hang out sometime before or after piano? Chances are shell say yes!
