Q: Hey! I'm 20/f if it matters...

Ok my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years, and he recently joined the army. We don't get to see each other much right now because he is stationed on the other side of the country. :( He is leaving for Iraq in a few months, and he is coming home next weekend and will be here for about 3 weeks. It is the last time I will get to see him for a while... he's not coming back home until after spending 6 months in Iraq. While he is home, he is also turning 21! Do you guys have any ideas of what kinds of things I can do for him to make his stay special? we've made plans to go to an amusement park and gambling and of course the usual dinners and movies... but I can't think of more things! HELP!

It doesn't even have to be something that we can do... anything nice, any small surprises, ANYTHING you guys can think of! I'll leave feedback! Thanks soooooooo much!! :)
Since you won't be seeing your boyfriend for awhile, I'd suggest maybe doing some little things that have special meanings for you like maybe recreating your first date. It might help to remind him exactly how much he means to you, and show him that, even if it's a little corny, that you can still remember the times when you were first together. What are some fun things that he likes to do? Even if you may not enjoy it, try doing some things that you KNOW he loves; by sacrificing your comfort for something he really likes to do will show him that you really care about making him happy. Or try something spontaenous that he might never expect, like taking him ice skating, even though it's in the middle of summer. Good luck with your planning and best wishes for your boyfriend's safe return from Iraq.
