I'm going to see an adolescent psychiatrist for the first time in about a week and I was wondering what I should expect. I'm going for depression and self-injury, if that makes a difference. I just wondering what I cn epect when I go there. Thanks so much. I'll rate high.

i've been to one. Be prepared for them to tell you things that you dont want to here. most physchiatrists have problems of there own so they shouldn't be telling you whats wrong with you. i used to cut myself && when i went to the physchiatrist they told me "your just doing this for attention" which wasn't true at all. just be prepared. if you need to talk to an actual human being talk to me
