Alright. I went to a Planned Parenthood clinic about 3 weeks ago and the doctor prescribed me the Pill, Ortho Tricyclen. Since I went to the doctor about a week and a half after ending my period I had to wait until I started this month to start taking my pills (I'm using the Sunday start, btw) For those of you who don't know, those using the Sunday start start taking their pills the Sunday after whenever they start their period. I started mine this morning, therefore I'm supposed to start taking my pills tomorrow. My question is, since the place in the packet where I start taking the pills is not the ones you take during your period week, will it stop my period or will I continue to have it like normal? I rate high, thank you so much if you answer! (link)

ok well your wrong, i am on birth control the pill and it is prescribed by my reg. gyn and you are supposed to take the pill the day after your period ends. so if you start taking them when you period starts you will either stop yur period or you will have two periods that month.

I don't know what pill you're taking but the packet in my pill container AND my doctor both recommended the Sunday start, which says that you take it the Sunday after your period starts, whether or not you're still bleeding. It did not however, say whether it would stop that period or whether you would have it like normal. That's what I was asking.
