Okay so I am 14/f and will be graduating from 8th grade this year. The only thing is i do not want to go to my graduation because i dont want to have to walk infront of all the people, this is because I have Cerebral Palsy. It is a disorder that cause tight hamstings and makes me walk ver different from others. I am very self consious of this. I want to be a part of graduation but walking on stage and down an aisile(sp?) really acres me. I know that other should not judge me but. I just really dont know what to do any advice would help.I also have a big problem with stage fright and public things such as this ..if that means anything. (link)
Lifes not like the chickflicks you see with the bitches pickin on the people who are different, most people are very compassionate and wont see you cerebral palsy as a disadvantage theyll see it as something that gives you a strong soul. By walking onstage your just proving it, if you dont walk with the rest of you class you showing the rest of the world that you see it as a disadvantage, when you shouldnt, see it as a gift, that will make you strong, give you courage, and mould you into a strong young woman of todays society.=D
be happy be strong be you
