I've tried soo hard to do this but i cannot figure out how the hell people do it.
What i want to know is how ppl make a picture black and white and make one thing a different color?
heres a picture of what im talking about:

Can someone please explain to me how to do this or a website that will help me?

It's simple. Just go to www.adobe.com and download the adobe photoshop CS2 trial, which is the full photoshop program, only it only works for 30 days. Once you download the program, to make everything in the picture black and white, simply click
image>adjustments>hue/saturation, then bring the level of saturation down to zero. then, if you want to make it all a certain color, once in the window with the saturation controls simply check the box that says "colorize" and then change the thing that says "hue" to make the picture a different color. you can also change the brightness. In order to make only one thing colored with the rest of the picture black and white, use the lasso tool (it's a picture of a like rope or lasso) and then while holding down the mouse outline the thing you want colored. Then do image>adjustments>hue/saturation, then click colorize, and change the hue.
