Well my grades have been slipping alot latly and i am trying my hardest and my parents dont seem to get that they think that im just being lasey i dont know what to do to try even harder to get my grades were they used to be! The next grade card is in 2 weeks!ahhh HELP PLEASE

Since you're 13, you're probably in 6th or 7th grade, meaning that you're in middle school. I know that you're trying really hard, and believe me I know how it feels to try so hard but not be good enough. =/ But to tell you the truth, middle school doesn't count. It really doesn't. I'm not telling you to just stop working because it doesn't amount to anything, I'm saying that if you are honestly giving it your all (which should only take 1-2 hours a day in middle school), then that's that. You can't do better than your best, can you? That wouldn't even make sense. lol.
But really, if you do your homework accurately, pay attention in class, and study for a reasonable amount of time, then you shouldn't be making bad grades. Ask your teacher what you need to work on more (ie. Homework, tests, projects, etc.), and ask how you can improve (better study habits, better time management, etc.).
To me, high school is easier than middle school, but that's just me. So try your best (but don't overdo it) and that's all someone can ask for. If your grades are dropping in more than 2 classes, then you should start to worry, but otherwise just keep trying and don't give up! Hang in there!
PS: If you're struggling in a math class for example, then DON'T take an honors math class in high school, but if you're doing really well in history/social studies, then take honors history in high school.

A's and B's are good! If your parents can't see that then that's their fault, not yours. It isn't good that your teachers don't care, and it also isn't good that you spent 4 hours on homework =/

Thanks for the advise and i hope hs is really easier than middle school but on friday when i did my hw it took me almost 4 hours and my teachers dont exactly care there extra credit is only 5 points thats all and in most of my classes they only hand it out about every other month and my grades are only a and bs so whats so wrong with that well idk they might just have to get over the fact that my gades wont b srtate a's like my sis shes in 9 grade and is taking like 10 and 11 grade classses and she wants to go to yale and i think that my rents want me 2 b like that lol thanks though
