Q: My boyfriend and I can rarely hang out because my parents are so strict. I almost never see him outside of school. But he loves me alot and will do practically anything for me. But lately he has been hanging out with this girl, we'll call her Liz. And Liz obviously likes him. Liz has been using me to get closer to him but he swears that he doesn't like her. He always also talks crap about Liz behind her back. but they continue to hang out. But he doesn't want to break up with me.
Since me and him dont hang out alot, is he maybe trying to create a substitute of me that he can hang out with? What do you think?

I think possibly he might be trying to use her as a substitute, but even if that is so he shouldnt do that if he really loves you. He wouldnt want a substitute because that wouldnt be as good as the real thing. I dont understand why he would be talking shit about her and then still hanging out with her, it leaves me to wonder if he has something to hide. Maybe you should be 100% up front with him and ask him to be 100 percent honest with you also. If he liked her though, I'm sure he wouldnt want to tell you because he doesnt want to lose you, but its normal to like other people while your dating someone, as long as its just like. Its always a curiosity factor. Guys like other girls because their curious of what they cant have, but as long as they know they cant have them its alright, make sure your boyfriend knows that. =D
