I'm a normal 15 year old kid from small town Archer City. I just wanna help some people not screw up their lives and make some of the same mistakes I have. I would tell you to check out my MySpace if you wanna know more, but it's private and it won't let me change it back.

why do they make cars that go like 300 miles per hour if the speed limit's like 75 miles per hour
(link)
First off, not many factory cars will go 300. I've wondered this myself too, though. One reason is because people just like to have the ability to go that fast. People are gonna speed no matter what, why not make it enjoyable? Also, some people, such as my dad, like to take their cars and race them at drag strips (actual competitions, it's perfectly legal). I wouldn't be opposed to upping the speed limit, because most accidents don't occur at top speed. People are more likely to become complacent and get their attention distracted when they're going slower. At least, I'm pretty sure I'd pay a lot more attention if i was going 130 instead of 75. Hope I helped some.
