Hi, I'm a young 50 year old father of three (two sons one 5 and one 21, and a daughter of 31) from Romford, England. I have a lot of experience of life from both the good and bad sides, the good side when I was singing in bands almost every night and my life was one long party, and the bad side having to admit I'm an alcoholic and doing a hard rehab/detox programme (sober for 10 years now) then having a heart attack and a broken marriage to deal with. I am now in a good place in my own mind and want to help others as much as I am able to.

Okay, I need your opinion. I'm writing a song and I need a title first according to my vocalist. Please pick your fave out of the choices below:
a) Hollywood Heartbreak
b) Generation Change (sounds 70's right?)
c) Beautiful Heartbreak
d) Broken change/ promise
(On d, change or promise? if you chose d.)

Any other suggestions on titles? Or anything else about songwriting in general? I'll rate high. (link)
I like Hollywood Heartbreak, it's a good title. As a songwriter and vocalist myself I would say that you don't need to have a title before you write a song and sometimes the song you write gives you the title, one of the lines stands out as you read it through and that becomes the title, and it doesn't need to be the chorus, or sometimes you write a song and give it a title that doesn't have anything to do with the lyrics but sums up either the feel or the meaning of the song.

Hope you do well with the song, good luck,

Kizlode
