What are some good ways to let me boyfriend down gently? I'm not into him as much as I used to be and we're just not working out. He never calls me and he never really talks to me. We've been one of those couples that looks so cute from the outside but there's nothing on the inside. I just need a way to break up with him without the old "we're better off as friends" excuse or something cheesy like that. He's a nice guy and he's really cool but he's not the dude for me. Thanks :)

I would just tell him that you dont like him as you used to and its not his fault its just the way it is. You cant really blame a person for falling out of love, it just happens. Hes apparently not the one for you if you dont like him anymore, and he wouldnt want you to lead him on would he? If he still likes you theres really no way that you can put him down gently. Hes gonna take it hard as anybody would, but he WILL get over it so try not to feel too bad
